A Mag was a fantastic project I loved creating during periods of lockdown, connecting with fellow artists and putting together something magical.
The original idea was to have a print run but because of Covid printing and distribution would have been impossible, the magazine was instead distributed online with mailshots going out to 2000+ paid subscribers.

Various parameters were set – “make it bold! and feel free to showcase lots of arts.” Asked to draw inspiration from urban arts culture for a young to mid age readership, while also containing articles that might appeal to older generations.
I wanted to create a fully custom look to the design with mixtures of cartoons and art all layered together so that each page has a little surprise to keep the reader entranced.
This position also involved me designing and building websites as well as many print productions.
